The 23rd SPHS Tiger Run is going Virtual in 2020.

To provide the safest option for our community while continuing the tradition of the Tiger Run, this year we invite you to create your own route and you’ll have 2 weeks to run it!

Whether it’s a 5k, 10K or just down the driveway, your registration will help support the Clubs, Activities and Teams at South Pasadena High School. Without the benefit of Tiger Bingo and those funds this year due to COVID-19, the students really need our support.

When you register you can designate $10 of your fee to go directly to a specific Club, Activity or Team. Go ahead, recruit those out of town friends, family and alumni to help support SPHS – it’s all about the Tiger Spirit!

Let’s not forget the Kids! The Cub Run is on – get your youngster out of the house and go for a family walk, jog or run.

Be social, win prizes! Take a picture of your time, a glimpse of your route, in front of your favorite SoPas business or landmark, your family running, or even pull out your favorite past Tiger Run shirt and tag your photos @sphsboosterclub

We’ll be doing random drawings on November 21, 28 and December 5 from registered runners and tagged social posts for SoPas High swag and prizes from local businesses.

Virtual Run

Cover The Distance, Support The Cause
Just how will a Virtual Tiger Run work? It’s easy:
• For the Tiger Run or Cub Run, register using the link below. Don’t forget to identify a Club, Activity or Team so that they’ll directly receive $10 from your registration.
• Forward www.SPTigerRun.com to friends and family so they can register and show their support.
• Your printable bib will be emailed you prior to the official start on Friday, November 20. Pick your own number, personalize your bib and don’t forget to take a picture.
• Complete your distance – safely outdoors or even on a treadmill – starting on Friday, November 20th through Saturday, December 5th.
• Tag your photos @sphsboosterclub and be entered to win prizes. Drawings will be held on November 21, 28 and December 5.
• It’s your run, have fun with it knowing that you’re supporting the students at SPHS!

Pricing

Designate $10 of your registration fee to your preferred SPHS club, activity or team. It’s easy, when you get to Event Questions in the registration section and ‘Would you like to join or create a team’ choose ‘Join an Existing Team’ and scroll through the choices to make your selection. Don’t see what you’re looking for? Go back and choose ‘Create a Team‘ and type in where you’d like to have your $10 applied. Thank you!

SAFETY

• Take time to stretch and be sure to hydrate.
• Follow appropriate social distancing guidelines. Don’t go out if you’re not feeling well.
• Plot your course in advance and follow the rules of the road.
• Tell someone that you’re doing your own Tiger Run – let them help motivate you - or join you!
• On the day of your run, share your route with friends and check in with them when you’re done.

The South Pasadena High School Booster Club raises funds to support over 50 clubs, activities and teams so our students can enjoy a wide range of athletic, artistic and academic experiences. Funds raised through the Tiger Run, bingo, sponsorships, and donations help pay for equipment, facilities, team travel and more. From band to badminton, jazz to journalism, volleyball to Virtual Business, and Yosemite to yearbook, the Booster Club supports the extracurricular activities that broaden the horizons of all our students
